Account Access and Password Management
Tentaroo accounts are designed to be shared by unit leadership or adult members of a family. Each account has a single login ID and password, along with a Primary Contact and an optional Alternate Contact.
For unit accounts, we recommend sharing login credentials among only two or three leaders who are responsible for maintaining the account, registering for events, or reserving facilities.
Each council‘s Tentaroo system is independent. If you have questions or need assistance, contact your account’s host council.
Forgotten Passwords
If you forget your password, click on the Forgot Password link on the login screen and enter your username or email address. An email will then be sent to both the primary and alternative contacts containing a verification link that can be used to reset your password. This link can only be used once per account and will expire after 24 hours.
If you no longer have access to these email accounts, please contact the host council to request updates to the contact emails.
Password Best Practices
Passwords are case sensitive and encrypted for security, but it’s still important to set a strong password or pass phrase that is easy to remember but hard to guess.
- Minimum 8 characters.
- Special characters are supported.
As unit leadership changes, outgoing leaders should pass the unit account on by changing the account contact email(s) to those of the new leaders. One of the new leaders should then use the Forgot Password button on the login screen to set a new password for the unit account.
